Arizona Sonora Desert Museum Renovation and Add-On

Customer: Arizona Sonora Desert Museum

Performed preconstruction and design support and the full ground-up construction of a new 7,000 square foot classroom building including public restroom facilities to current code along with associated exterior flatwork and exterior design elements to tie the new building as an addition to an existing campus of Classroom, Education, and Museum Buildings located within the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. In addition, SKDB renovated an 1,800 square foot display hall, including replacing drywall, wall coatings, windows, lighting, and electrical upgrades.

Construction was performed while the adjacent buildings in the Educational building campus were occupied and open for business to the public.
